Once the community approves the Go Live event and Seeds begin to stabalise, the distribution of Seeds will go through the Harvest.
What is the Harvest?
We distribute Seeds with the Harvest. In a nutshell, it is the polar opposite of a trickle-down economic system. This means that instead of becoming available to the few in the hopes that the value will reach the many, the Harvest is designed to give value that reaches the many straight away.
How is the Harvest sum allocated?
The Seeds Harvests are distributed directly into the accounts of people and organisations who contribute to the growth and maintenance of a healthy economy or a healthy community or a healthy ecology. Each Resident and Citizen receives their Harvest based on their Contribution score. The Harvest is the aggregate sum of the collective efforts, which increases when the SEEDS economy is thriving.
Contribution Score Effect
Each person’s Contribution score is calculated from that individual’s contribution to the wellbeing of the ecosystem. It is made up of four other scores: transaction, reputation, planted and community building. This aligns financial interests together with environmental and social wellbeing for the benefit of the whole. It is the mechanic that unites all of our financial interests in order to reward and encourage cooperation towards a favourable transition, for all participants, into this new economic model. This model creates a series of positive feedback loops of ecological and community growth, equality and collaboration. In essence, it’s set up to be self-perpetuating, just like the natural systems its designed to support.
